VietNamNet Bridge – A little girl named Doan Thi Hong V. (born 2001) in Phuoc Son Commune, Ninh Phuoc district, Ninh Thuan province on April 27 gave birth to a son in the stupefaction of many people.

The girl was hospitalized at the General Hospital of Ninh Thuan Province on April 26, without prenatal abdominal pain, though it was two days after the expected date of birth.

At 1.30pm of April 27, the girl gave birth to a son, weighing 3.6 kg in the surprise of many doctors. The mother is a 6th grader of a junior secondary school in Ninh Phuoc district.

After giving birth, the health of V. is pretty good. The "child mother" and her baby are being cared for in the hospital. The case has been reported to the police for investigating who sexually abused this 12-year-old girl.

In 2011, a 12-year-old girl in Dong Hung district, Thai Binh province reluctantly became a mother. She gave birth to a baby girl of 2.7kg on June 24.

The father of the child was identified as Dang Van Luu, 57, a neighbor. This man was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He also had to pay compensation for the girl and financially support the baby until she turns 18.
